Influencer & Educator
TJRTrades is a platform founded by social media influencer and educator Tyler Riches, dedicated to providing day trading education. Launched in 2022, TJRTrades has become a go-to resource for both novice and seasoned traders seeking insights, courses, and expert advice from Tyler’s extensive experience in the financial markets.
Tyler Riches needed a website that would solidify TJRTrades’ position as a leading educational hub in the trading industry. The challenge was to build a platform that could seamlessly integrate various content types, from workshops to YouTube videos, while maintaining a cohesive brand identity that resonates with younger investors eager to learn.
We crafted a bold new website tailored to reflect Tyler’s dynamic teaching style and captivate a younger audience. A gritty black-and-white palette, accented with teal and purple, symbolizes a fresh, innovative approach for aspiring traders. Recognizing the need for seamless access to educational resources, we developed an intuitive layout that guides users effortlessly through the platform’s diverse content. To boost engagement, we integrated interactive elements, dynamic backgrounds, and a custom chalkboard-style font that reinforces the educational nature of TJRTrades. The result is a digital space that not only informs but also engages, embodying Tyler’s mission to empower the next generation of traders.
Most design projects begin with branding, but in this case, the client was initially unsure whether he needed a full rebrand or just a new website. To help clarify his vision, I curated and categorized references from various websites to identify a style that resonated with him. This process helped us establish a clear visual direction early on.
Once the client saw the website design, he decided to move forward with a full rebrand. I then made some adjustments to the website, incorporating elements from the new logo into key sections to align with the new, updated branding.
I also extended this new branding to social media by creating assets that maintained consistency across all platforms.
